Just a few weeks ago our class went out to Moton Airfield where the Tuskegee Airmen trained. Our class project is to clean up the airfield and help with the restoration of the park. So, we spent the day (180 of us) cleaning up the airfield, tearing down chainlink fence, trees, and brush. Here are a few of the seminar mates and myself in front of the old Stearman PT-17 they had. Wish I could have gone flying instead...

Hey all,
Last Friday night Lebette and I went on a Haunted Hay ride here in Alabama. We went with our friends Zev and Fiona; Zev was in our wedding and has been stationed overseas for a while. We all had a blast on the hay ride, and as you can see, the ghouls got ahold of Fiona. We are all looking forward to a festive candy-filled Halloween.

Folks,

Here is how well our move went. The stuff arrived in a moving truck.....towed by another truck. No wonder we had so much damage.

October cools off in the south

Hey all,
Lebette and I are in Beyootiful Montgomery Alabama for the next year. Don't know where we are headed next summer. I hope to stay on for another school, but we won't know until December.

Ivan just knocked all the leaves off the trees and the power was out for 24 hours. Other than that, pretty low impact to our town.
